For all of you farm couples having your wedding celebration on a warm summer’s day, consider serving your guests popsicles (maybe in place of your more traditional wedding dessert, maybe not!) made of edible flowers.
They look so completely gorgeous and it would be a delicious and fun surprise for your guests. Make in advance, keep in a freezer and time it right to bring them out for a post-dinner enjoyment, or maybe a cool treat during your cocktail hour. This sweet blog Fresh Family Cooking has a full tutorial (and recipe) on how she and her family made these delicious treats that are orange blossom flavored. Lovely, just lovely!
Here’s a glimpse of Abbie and Adam’s classic barn wedding at Fields on West Lake. It’s simple, elegant, and filled with love from family and friends! This gorgeous wedding was planned in just under four months- I think it came out beautifully!
Cheers to you both!

Amanda and Will chose a very rustic place to celebrate their wedding day. They created a lot of the decorations from hand crafted center pieces, to hanging all the strands of string lights to add a little romance. A ceremony filled with sweet moments, you know it’s sweet when the couple chose to have their dogs stay close nearby and walk down the aisle with them after the ceremony. Cowboy boots, gorgeous flowers, wood stumps filled with tea lights set on burlap table runners, a pig roast for dinner paired with champagne toasts, this country affair was filled with all the goodness we love about country barn weddings! Happy life together Amanda and Will!

Sarah and Brianna were married in September in the Hudson Valley, NY at the The Circa 1799 Barn. De Nueva Photography captured this sweet wedding of these two lovely ladies. I love so much about this wedding – for example, that each one wore a dress that obviously speaks to their personalities, and I love that they are different shades of white and cream. I love that they broke tradition during their ceremony of having a single person perform their ceremony, and instead invited several special people to be part of joining them in marriage. I love their creative and unique table names using folks throughout history. I love that on the Hillary Clinton table for example, they added in their sense of humor. Of course I love the barn – I mean, STUNNING. But mostly, I love all of the sweet, funny, tender, laughter filled moments of Sarah and Brianna together. So much happiness and love shared.
Cheers to you!
