i love farm weddings » a farm wedding inspiration blog

Happy Friday friends! It’s been a while since I’ve done a color inspiration post and today seemed like the perfect day! I’m in love with the color cream. It’s a little bit more romantic than a stark white (which is great for a wedding with a modern feel). Cream is fresh, it’s new, it is innocent and youthful, perfect for a vintage inspired wedding! It softens a tablescape, works on all skin colors and is a wonderful choice for a bridal party. It is a great accent because it literally goes with everything! So have fun with the color cream…how would you use it?!

Farmhouses are near and dear to my heart and I particularly love ones that capture the romance of living on a farm! This bedroom is the perfect example! Having both a floral wallpaper and bedspread might seem like it would overpower a space but because this is a smaller room it can handle it! This sweet room makes me dream of meadows of wildflowers and the hum of crickets….oh summer in a farmhouse… perfection!!

So you’ve picked the perfect spot for your ceremony…a lovely outdoor ceremony. The only hitch is how to define the spot where you and your love will stand and exchange vows?! One beautiful way to create that space is with an arbor. They can easily be built if you are handy (or know some handy people!) and can be styled with flowers, fabric, origami swans, tape ribbons okay really anything!! You can tailor them to fit the look and feel of the wedding. Add bold flowers and feathers for a more boho feel or hang a delicate chandelier from the center for a vintage inspired wedding! The possibilities are endless. If you can dream it, you can create it and have a one of a kind arbor for your wedding!!

I love Instagram for so many reasons! I always find interesting and beautiful images that people are sharing with the world. Instagram allows people to look at their world in a new way and be inspired by others points of view! It really is one of the best places to go if you are looking for wedding inspiration. There are so many talented stylists, photographers and florists on Instagram sharing their passions and ideas that I just had to share a few favorites! Each of these feeds has an undeniable wow factor, a sophisticated and beautiful approach to how they capture their images and how they choose to share them. Just looking at them makes my mind spin with ideas and they just make me…well inspired! While you’re checking out these beautiful feeds don’t forget to stop by and follow our own Emily at @emilywalen and me at @quinnsavard … I hope you enjoy all of the loveliness of @tingefloral @ashleyfoxdesigns @soilandstem and @terrain_weddings

Valerie - I’ve used Etsy to find invitations for several events before, and it’s great because you find unique invites that are reasonably priced. Plus, you can find a design to fit your wedding’s style.ReplyCancel
