Flowers = romance plain and simple! We give flowers as gifts, as tokens of affection, as reminders of our feelings. In light of all that, what could be more romantic than getting married under a ceiling draped in beautiful fragrant flowers?! The idea is one that can be tailored to fit your wedding. The flowers could be in your color scheme. They could be the same flowers that the bridal party are carrying in their bouquets, tying it all together. They could be the favorite flowers of a loved one who has passed on and whose memory you want to honor on your big day. Or you could decide to drape the room in your favorite flowers because it’s your wedding and why not?!! There is no right or wrong as long as it’s authentic to you as a couple!

Ah the rolling green of the english countryside…I think I could handle living in this converted barn complex with it’s view of the surrounding land! Did I mention there is a heated pool in this house?! I’ve got my Hunter boots packed and ready to explore this beautiful spot! Happy Friday!

Vintage milk bottles just sort of scream farm wedding to me! They used to be used not only to serve milk but as advertisements for local dairy farms and sometimes even larger products like cereal. They are great to collect to use for flowers as centerpieces and even use as a fun way to serve water or non alcoholic beverages on each table. Vintage milk bottles would also be great to give as gifts filled with homemade beer if you brew your own! The best part is after your wedding you can display them in your own kitchen and continue to use them for fresh flowers and fun drinks during parties! What awesome reminders of your big day!

Wedding cakes are synonymous with getting married but here’s the thing…not everyone likes cake. Just because it’s been a long held tradition that you serve cake on your wedding day, doesn’t mean that you have to. If you are more of an ice cream fan, set up an ice cream bar or serve classic vanilla topped with fresh summer berries. Pavlova is a gorgeous meringue that is generally topped with fresh fruit and is truly a beautiful dessert to serve. What’s your favorite dessert? Well serve that! This is your day and you should celebrate it with all of your favorite things including dessert!

I love this old shed I spotted recently, full of interesting texture, mostly old, a little bit new. It’s weathered and could use some love, but it’s so beautiful it stopped me in my tracks and begged to be photographed.
