I LOVE FARM WEDDINGS is a blog dedicated to showcasing the loveliness of all things farm weddings!
Our posts feature real couples who made their farm wedding dreams come true; showcase handmade elements that are what help make farm weddings so unique and full of character; provide overall farm wedding inspiration, which if you’re anything like me, will just make you ooh and ahh over some of the most gorgeous farm settings. I might be known to use the words “farm wedding” a bit loosely on here from time to time, adding in some vineyard weddings, or others where it has the feeling of a farm wedding, but may not be set on a traditional farm. I hope you don’t mind… I’m sure those posts will be just as lovely.
Simply put, this blog is meant to inspire and help couples in love plan their amazing, rustic inspired, handmade loveliness, farm weddings.

That’s me and my husband at our farm wedding. I didn’t set out to have a farm wedding. In fact, I almost didn’t realize that I really had a “farm wedding” until I was thinking more seriously about this blog and what makes a farm wedding a farm wedding. I just knew I wanted to have something rustic, with lots of character, in an outdoors setting that was unique and well, completely magical (and of course, included lots of handmade elements). And we settled on a villa|vineyard|working farm in Italy. It was perfect for us.
That’s partly what I love about farms. They are ALL over the world, in glorious settings, and have charm and character molded into them. I’ve been daydreaming for a long time that someday, some sweet day, I am going to own my own farm and host enchanting events at it (even though bugs and I don’t get along and I have lovely allergies to most everything). I don’t know where my farm will be yet. Or when. So while I patiently wait for my own fabulous someday farm, I decided to start this blog and daydream along with our readers about all the allure that farm weddings hold.
When I’m not daydreaming about farm weddings, I also own my own photography and event planning business – the event studios - based in Minneapolis/Saint Paul, MN; am married to the man of my dreams (who, thankfully, is one of the best listeners I have ever met – a true blessing since I tend to talk a lot about random things); and have an amazing daughter and now a magical baby boy who just arrived! I feel blessed to lead my cozy life, mostly based in creative daydream land. I hope you enjoy this blog, feel inspired by it and visit often.
